All of the above quotes are based on choice quality cattle. Low grade or inferior cattle are not represented.

Quote of the Week: NOBODY EVER DROWNED IN HIS OWN SWEAT.

We sold 380 head this week, lighter steers and heifers were hard to sell, but the plainer cattle were really hard to sell. The bigger cattle are in the most demand. The much needed rain should help the prices on the light calves, pairs, and bred cows. Weigh cows and bulls again $1 to $2 higher than a week ago.

Thank you, Sonny Shores

We will be closed the week of June 30 - July 4. (NO SALE JULY 3) First sale in July will be the 10th.

Consigned for July 10th 30 Black Pairs and 20 head of fresh Roping Steers.

**We have recently been notified by the AZ Department of Agriculture that the import requirements have changed. All cattle crossing the state line must have a prior import permit (602-542-4293), livestock inspection certificate, and a health paper. If you have any questions, contact the state vet at 602-542-4293.

As per ADA: We are no longer accepting fresh brands or no brands unless inspected at point of origin. NO EXCEPTIONS!

As of December 31, 2003, US Secretary of Agriculture announced that effectively immediately USDA will ban all downer cattle from the human food chain. In light of this announcement, effective immediately our market facility will no longer permit non-ambulatory (USDA has defined non-ambulatory as disabled and unable to stand, walk or rise on their own), or bad/cancer eye cattle to be off-loaded at our livestock market nor will they be sold for slaughter.

We would like to thank our buyers and consigners for their continued support.

God Bless The Cattlemen!!
